LINK, the German exchange student attending Sunny Hill school! This frankfurter is the go-to authority on all things German cuisine and loves sharing tasty dishes from his country. From the sizzling sausages and pretzels of Bavaria to the Black Forest cake invented in the town of Bad Godesberg, Link knows a thing or two about scrumptious dishes!
After Mrs. Grease told him about the frozen dessert idea, Link was reminded about his favorite treat from back home, eis. Eis translates to “ice” in English and is the German version of ice cream. It’s made with milk instead of cream and tends to be denser than ice cream with a more intense flavor. For this assignment, Link chose his favorite eis topping, streusel, which is a local version of tasty sprinkles!
